Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Yaama and welcome to Werris Creek Public School. I am very proud to be the Principal of this wonderful school and it is a real privilege for me to work with our students, our staff and our families to make our school the very best it can be.

Werris Creek Public School is one where we pride ourselves on ensuring of high levels of learning for all our students. We have a strong emphasis on:

We pride ourselves in our safe, supportive and caring atmosphere that is built on positive relationships. We care for and appreciate each of our students as unique individuals who have their own distinct talents, interests, needs and learning styles.

We aim to provide an appealing and stimulating learning environment that challenges each student to learn to high levels. Our staff ensure our students grow in confidence and capabilities whilst also developing the necessary skills for the future. We develop in each of our students a curious and inquiring mindset whilst also developing a strong self-esteem and a healthy and respectful tolerance and appreciation of others.
